wydaje mi się, że jeśli umiejscowi się muzykę (albo książki czy filmy, czy teatr, czy cokolwiek, co każe nam czuć) w centrum zainteresowań, to nie ma szans na poradzenie sobie z własnym życiem emocjonalnym, nie ma szans na myślenie o nim jak o skończonym produkcie. i co zostaje? wydzieranie z niego po kawałku i dokładanie do ognia, wzbudzanie namiętności po to, by znów wydrzeć kawałek, tym razem większy, aż wreszcie nic nie zostaje i trzeba zaczynać od nowa. może ci z nas, którzy pochłaniają uczucia całymi dniami, żyją na zbyt dużych obrotach i w konsekwencji nie potrafią usiąść i delektować się zwykłym radosnym zadowoleniem. my musimy być nieszczęśliwi, albo przeciwnie, pijani, odurzeni szczęściem, a oba te stany trudno jest osiągnąć w zwykłym, stabilnym związku.
